Wakti ("Wakti," "we," "us," or "our") provides a project, time, expense, and billing management platform for agencies, consultancies, and professional services teams (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Wakti, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information: name, work email, company name, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you create a workspace. Workspace content: projects, tasks, time entries, expenses, invoices, client records, and files you or your team add to Wakti. Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. Wakti does not store full card numbers on its own servers. Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction data, collected to improve the product. Device & log data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and diagnostics. Communications: messages you send us through the Contact form, support channels, or a scheduled demo.
We use the information above to: provide and maintain the Service; process subscriptions and billing; respond to support requests; send product, security, and account-related notifications; improve features and fix issues; and detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
Wakti uses necessary first-party storage for core functions and to remember privacy choices. We also use Google Analytics in advanced consent mode. When analytics storage is denied, Google receives cookieless measurement signals such as page views, timestamps, referrers, browser information, and IP addresses transmitted through standard web requests; Wakti does not add a persistent analytics identifier. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics can measure sessions, attribution, and returning visits. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled. You can change or withdraw your analytics-cookie choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers who help us run Wakti (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics), under contractual confidentiality obligations; third-party integrations you choose to connect (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365) — only the data needed for that integration to function is shared, and only after you authorize the connection; legal or safety reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wakti, our users, or others; and a successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with notice to affected users.
Wakti is a global platform. Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own, including the United Arab Emirates and other regions where our infrastructure providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected consistent with this Policy wherever it is processed.
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as your workspace is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; export your data in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Wakti is a business tool intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
